The Apartment
The apartment is part of the LW Davis house, an Italianate-style home built in 1897. It has unique gardens and landscaping, with its own private entrances and outdoor areas on the patio and side of the front porch.

"I was so lucky to have this place recommended to me by a former tenant! Its in the PERFECT location within a short walk to downtown and a few minute drive to the hospital where I worked! The landlords were very welcoming! I felt I had complete privacy while staying here but knew the landlords would be there if I ever had an issue. Safety

The landlords were very welcoming! I felt I had complete privacy while staying here but knew the landlords would be there if I ever had an issue. Safety is a huge priority to me as a lone traveler and I never felt unsafe here. The space itself was comfortable and had everything I needed. I worked night shift and slept during the day and it was perfectly quiet! I fell in love with Wilmington and this apartment, I wouldn't have changed a thing! -Nicole

"The gentlemen that live upstairs and rent the property are so wonderful! Although I had a rough start to my stay due to unforeseen circumstances (that were out of anyones control) the landlords were so communicative and helpful. Although I had a rough start to my stay due to unforeseen circumstances (that were out of anyones control) the landlords were so communicative and helpful. This made me so comfortable that I stuck it out and I am so happy I did. The space is wonderful and exactly as described. There are extra sheets, towels and blankets and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need to cook basic meals. I absolutely loved the 'southern style' porch and every once in awhile you would see the horse drawn carriage go by. The house is old so it does creek from time to time but I worked night shift and had no problem sleeping even during the day. Overall, I had such a wonderful time here and would highly recommend!" - Lauren

"This was the perfect stay for my 6 month contract in Wilmington, NC. The place is fully furnished and comes equipped with anything you might need. The hosts are wonderful and helpful should you need anything, and I could barely tell they were living there a majority of the time (perfect for night shift!). The house is surrounded by beaut

The hosts are wonderful and helpful should you need anything, and I could barely tell they were living there a majority of the time (perfect for night shift!). The house is surrounded by beautiful historic homes, and you cant beat the location. Its a 2 minute walk to all of the restaurants/shops on the downtown riverwalk, and less than a 10 minute commute to NHRMC. If I ever went back to Wilmington, I would 100% stay here again!" - Caroline
